The mission of the Newton Early Childhood Program Parent Teacher Organization (NECP PTO) is to enhance our children’s educational experience through community building, family support, volunteer work, fundraising, and parental involvement. Our goal is to build a strong community that fosters the support and participation of all of our enrolled families.
Promote communication and mutual respect among parents, faculty, and administration.
Identify, support, develop, fund, and deliver educational enrichment for students.
Foster family-school-community connections through participation, fundraising, and support.
Support staff development of vibrant, successful, classrooms through fundraising and volunteering.
All parents and guardians of children enrolled at NECP are members of the PTO! We need you! Tuition only covers a portion of the annual cost to educate each child. The PTO provides direct financial support for educational enrichment, teacher development, community events, classroom technology, appliances and materials through PTO dues and fundraising. Without your contributions, we cannot continue to support the numerous activities we fund and host each year.
Events and activities supported by the NECP PTO in the past have included: Curious Creatures, Big Joe the Story Teller, Family Holiday Party, Year-End Picnic, and the Staff Appreciation Luncheon.
