UPDATE:

We know the Newton Serves site is PROVING TO BE a bit confusing, so…

CAN CHILDREN UNDER AGE 8 ATTEND?

YES! We even encourage you to bring your family and friends, as well. It’s just for the purposes of officially being a volunteer in the Newton SERVES program that children under-8 cannot register or receive the SERVES t-shirt, for example. Our children are more than welcome to play on the playground itself or help garden while the adults do their volunteer work. People may also volunteer day-of outside of signing up for the SERVES project, the choice is yours if you’d rather just show up!

WHEN DOES THE REGISTRATION PERIOD END?

The Newton SERVES website currently has THREE different dates listed! We’ve called and confirmed - they will close official registration the evening of Thursday, April 25th. This doesn’t mean, however, that you cannot still volunteer! This just means the Newton SERVES representative will only be supplying their “thank you” items, such as a t-shirt, to those that made the cut-off date. But we are welcoming you to volunteer nonetheless!

Giving Tuesday

Our preschool provides children of all abilities a lifelong foundation for understanding human differences, compassion, empathy and kindness. Support Newton Early Childhood Program by donating today.

This year, NECP PTO will be participating in the Global Day of Giving. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.), #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. We hope that you consider out PTO for your year-end donations. All contributions to NECP PTO go directly toward educational enrichment programs, new classroom materials, inclusive community building and events for NECP families.
