WHAT IS THE NECP PTO?
The Newton Early Childhood Program Parent-Teacher Organization is a 100% volunteer-powered 501(c)3 organization working to enrich the NECP community and school.

WHO ARE PTO MEMBERS?
You! All parents and guardians of children enrolled at NECP and NECP staff are members of the NECP PTO! You are invited to participate in monthly PTO meetings, volunteer to help with ongoing tasks, help prepare for events and attend events. We welcome your advice, feedback and help. Find a schedule of PTO meetings please refer to the home page.

HOW DO I CONTACT THE PTO?
You can attend a PTO meeting, reach out to your Room Parent(s), or email us at admin@necppto.org .

WHO IS MY ROOM PARENT?
Each classroom generally has one or more Room Parents who work closely with their teacher and PTO to assist in communication and collaboration between families, teachers and the PTO leadership. If you are unsure who your room parent is contact our PTO Room Parent Coordinator at admin@necppto.org. We are here to help!

HOW DO I STAY INFORMED?
Attend monthly PTO meetings. Register for our emails at www.necppto.org/register . You will be taken to our online form to enter your information. Info about meetings and events is available 24/7 online at www.necppto.org/calendar .

WHY DOES THE PTO RAISE MONEY?
Funds raised by NECP PTO are used to provide educational enrichment programs, the purchase of materials for our classrooms and school, and supporting social events for NECP familiesFunds also cover the PTO’s operational expenses, such as maintenance of the website, insurance and administrative supplies.

HOW DOES THE PTO RAISE MONEY?
We host an Annual Fund DriveSpring Online AuctionPizza Sales, and family friendly events. We also participate in affiliate programs including Mabel’s Labels.  Use of shopping links through our website and Facebook page allows for a portion of the proceeds from your purchase to be donated to the NECP PTO – at no cost to you! Anyone can use our links including your family & friends.

WHAT ARE EDUCATIONAL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS?
Our PTO has been proud to sponsor many educational enrichment programs including Curious Creatures, a live animal interactive program; Pumpernickel Puppets, a humorous and colorful adaptation of classic folk and fairy tales; and the energetic dancing and singing performances of Evan Cole from Jammin’ with You. These events are paid for by the NECP PTO and only possible because of generous donations.
